Final Mission Report - Interment, WWII US Army Air Corp Veteran, Albert Lockhart
The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of fallen WWII US Army Air Corp Veteran, Albert Lockhart, to stand and honor during his Interment services in Chester, CA.. The Patriot Guard Riders formed a flag line for family and friends to pass through during the Interment Service and final Military Honors at the Chester District Cemetery, Chester CA. On a beautiful, fall day, 10 PGR members showed to present Honors for this true American Hero, where the PGR stood Honor Line at WWII US Army Air Corp Veteran, Albert Lockhart’s final resting.
In addition to our Patriot Guard Riders we had a great representation of many groups on this Mission.
They include:
U. S. Air Force Honor Guard - Beale Air Force Base, Yuba City, CA
American Legion
Veterans of Foreign Wars
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank “Hammy” and his crew from Reno, NV who traveled to Chester to assist with standing Honors for one of the last of a great generation. Lastly, but not the least, I am thankful to WWII US Army Air Corp Veteran, Albert Lockhart, an American Hero, and his family. Your watch has been stood, your duty to protect this nation is complete, and you’ve earned the right to be called a true American Hero. Your service and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
Rest in Peace, your Mission is complete.
Respectfully,
American Patriot - Rick "Taildragger" Schultz
PGR - Ride Captain Susanville, CA
