PFC Irene J. Kephart, US Marine Corps, WWII Veteran - Susanville, CA

The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of fallen US Marine Corps - World War II Veteran, PFC Irene J. Kephart, to stand and honor during her Interment Service at the Diamond Crest Cemetery, Susanville, CA. PFC Irene J. Kephart served her country proudly from 30 Oct 1943 to 09 Nov 1945.

PFC Irene J. Kephart served during World War II as a Small Arms Mechanic and Ammunition and Weapons / Machine gun Inspector working on M1917, M1903, BAR’s, water cooled machine guns and aircraft machine guns. After the war PFC Irene J. Kephart became involved in veterans issues with the VFW and later became Post Commander in Oakdale, CA

PFC Irene J. Kephart was a proud US Marine Corps veteran. Because of her love of life, her sense of humor and her love for her family, she will be missed by many.
