Sp4 David L. Dennis - US Army Vietnam War Veteran, Susanville, CA
The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of fallen US Army - Vietnam War Veteran, Sp4 David L. Dennis, to stand and honor during his Interment Service at the Diamond Crest Cemetery, Susanville, CA. 96130. Sp4 David L. Dennis served his country proudly from 12 May 1965 to 16 Feb 1967.
Three Nevada P.G.R left Reno to attend the interment service for U.S. Army, Vietnam Veteran, SP4 David L Dennis. They joined five NorCal members at Diamond Crest Cemetery, Susanville for the service. The combined flag line consisted of eight members.
Sp4 David L. Dennis served in Vietnam with the 552nd Transportation Company. Sp4 David L. Dennis was awarded the following decorations : Vietnam Service Medal - Vietnam Campaign Medal - Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
Sp4 David L. Dennis was a lifelong resident of Janesville and upon his Honorable discharge from the US Army, Sp4 David L. Dennis returned home. Sp4 David L. Dennis loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, becoming a Gunsmith at Lassen College. Sp4 David L. Dennis also loved music and was an accomplished guitar player. Because of his love of life, his sense of humor and his love for his family, he will be missed by many.

began at approximately 1100hrs, at the Diamond Crest Cemetery, off of Law Drive and Diamond Crest Road, Susanville, CA .
