US Army Vietnam Veteran Bill Jerden - Susanville, CA

Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of US Army Vietnam Veteran Bill Jerden to stand flag line and Military Honors at Walton's Mortuary, 115 S Lassen St. in Susanville, CA.

Bill D. Jerden joined the US Army at age 17. He served 2 tours in Vietnam from 1965 to 1968. In the Army, Bill achieved the rank of Private. He was honorably discharged, and remained fiercely proud of his service and his country. It was not unusual to see Bill wearing some garment, whether it be a T-shirt, ball cap, or jacket depicting his role as a Veteran, and his pride in the U.S.A.

On a warm Fall day, 9 PGR participated in Flag Line and Military Honors for our Veteran Hero.
