Frank Richard Contenti Jr. - Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery - Fernley, NV

Good day all..
Monday 24 April 2017 we honored veteran Frank J. Contenti at the Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada. Three motors and fifteen PGR members in various cages converged to the cemetery to form a flagline at the plaza where the service was conducted.

A full service for this Vietnam Veteran was conducted with a volley of three, a blowing of taps , and a flagfold all done by the Northern Nevada Veterans Coalition. A dismiss to entry was called and two flaglines were formed to family and friends to walk between going with Veteran Contenti's cremains to his final resting place in the Wall.

On a side note our new procedure of arriving to the plaza via the North entry was, to say the least, a total success. I received nothing but positive reactions from everyone who attended the service (even from some who were not sure that change was a good thing).

My sincerest gratitude to the participants who made this a total success and to the coalition who stood and saluted our arrival with the breath of veterans who passed on blowing through our flags (wind).

My special thanks to our Nevada State Captain Joe Mastroianni who had faith in me and the rest of our group who flawlessly made us look better than ever! I cannot express my gratitude enough to you PGR members you definitely are the exception not the rule!
