US Navy - Korean / Vietnam War Veteran - SA Michael Glover, Quincy, CA
The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of fallen US Army - Korea/Vietnam War Veteran, SA Michael Glover, to stand and honor during his Memorial Service in Quincy at the Plumas County Fairgrounds, Quincy, CA. SA Michael Glover served his country proudly in the US Navy 1969 to 1971.
SA Michael Glover served aboard the MARS Class Combat Stores Ship - USS Niagara Falls. While aboard the USS Niagara, SA Michael Glover made numerous ports of call into Vietnam during his time in the US Navy.
After his service in the US Navy, SA Michael Glover later moved back to his home town in Quincy, CA where he continued his passion in life as a musician.
During his lengthy illness while at the Reno, NV VA Hospital, the local PGR members would visit and that left a lasting impression on SA Michael Glover. Because of his love of life, his sense of humor and his love for his family, he will be missed by many.
Memorial Services began at 11:30 hrs, at the Plumas County Fairgrounds – 204 Fairground Road, Quincy CA 95971. The Plumas County Fairgrounds is located off of Main Street to the North in East Quincy. We formed a flag line to render honors to the family and friends as they arrived for the Memorial service.
