Sgt Kenneth L. Erb - WWII US Army Air Corp Veteran - Susanville, CA

The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of fallen US Army Air Corp- WWII Veteran, Sgt Kenneth L. Erb, to stand and honor during his Interment Service at Diamond Crest Cemetery, Susanville, CA.. The mission involved a flag line at Diamond Crest Cemetery, Susanville, CA for family and friends to pass through. On a windy Spring day, 8 PGR members showed to present Honors to Sgt Kenneth L. Erb and his family at his final resting.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Joe and John who rode up from Reno, NV to assist the Susanville PGR stand Honor Line with American Flags during this Mission. In addition to our Patriot Guard Riders we had a great representation of many groups on this Mission.
They include :
Patriot Guard Riders
American Legion
VFW
US Army Honor Guard Team 6

Lastly, but not the least, I am thankful to Sgt Kenneth L. Erb. US Army Air Corp - WWII Veteran, and American Hero and his family. Your watch has been stood, your duty to protect this nation is complete, and you’ve earned the right to be called a true American Hero. Your service and sacrifice will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace, your Mission is complete.

Letter from the Family:

I would like to once again thank you for the beautiful service for my father, we were so proud that he was a WW II veteran. Until later in life he really didn’t speak about it very often, but he was definitely a proud veteran and patriot.

Once again thank you for the beautiful tribute to our father.

Sincerely,
David Erb
