US Air Force / US Coast Guard, Vietnam Veteran SSgt Albert Allan Fizer - Susanville, CA

The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of fallen US Air Force/US Coast Guard - Vietnam Veteran, SSgt Albert Allen Fizer, to stand and honor during his Interment Service at the Diamond Crest Cemetery, Susanville, CA. 96130. SSgt Albert Allen Fizer served his country proudly with the US Coast Guard for two years then volunteered to enter the US Air Force from 21 Nov 1965 to 19 Nov 1971.

SSgt Albert Allen Fizer entered the US Air Force and served as a Fire Protection Specialist. SSgt Albert Allen Fizer served two tours overseas - one in Vietnam and one in Germany. SSgt Albert Allen Fizer received the following awards/decorations for his service:

Air Force Outstanding Unit Citation Air Force Longevity Service Award Air Force Good Conduct Medal Vietnam Service Medal Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal Air Force Commendation Medal.

Upon his Honorable Discharge from the US Air Force, SSgt Albert Allen Fizer entered the Fire Service with the City of Roseville, CA Fire Department where he retired. After his retirement, SSgt Albert Allen Fizer moved to Susanville and went to work part time as a Dispatcher for the Lassen County Sheriff's Department.
