The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of fallen US Navy Veteran, Petty Officer 3rd Class Daryl D. Bottini, to stand and honor during his Interment Service at the Diamond Crest Cemetery, Susanville, CA. 96130. Petty Officer 3rd Class Daryl D. Bottini served his country proudly from 23 Sept 1969 to 22 June 1973.
Petty Officer 3rd Class Daryl D. Bottini entered the US Navy and served aboard the USS Richard S. Edwards - DD950, a Forrest Sherman Class Destroyer as an Engine Room Mechanic. Petty Officer 3rd Class Daryl D. Bottini served two tours off the coast of Vietnam and received the following medals and Awards: Combat Action Ribbon - Vietnam Service Medal with one Cluster - Vietnam Campaign Medal with one Cluster - National Defense Service Medal.
Petty Officer 3rd Class Daryl D. Bottini was a proud US Navy Veteran. Because of his love of life, his sense of humor and his love for his family, he will be missed by many.
INTERMENT SERVICES: began at approximately 1300hrs, at the Diamond Crest Cemetery, off of Law Drive and Diamond Crest Road, Susanville, CA .
