US Army Air Corp, WWII Veteran, Sgt Ed J. Young - Westwood, CA Cemetery
The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of fallen US Army Air Corp - WWII Veteran, Sgt Ed J. Young, to stand and honor during his Interment service at the Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, CA.
Today three Nevada PGR, two motors and one cage from Reno and Truckee joined seven NorCal Patriot Guard members in Susanville to travel on together to Westwood Cemetery, Westwood Ca. to honor WWII U.S. Army Air Corp. Veteran Sgt. Ed J. Young.
Sgt Ed J. Young entered the US Army Air Corp in August 1942 and served in the European Theater of War until his discharge in Oct 1945 at the end of WWII. Sgt Ed J. Young was a proud US Army Air Corp - WWII Veteran. Because of his love of life, his sense of humor and his love for his family, he will be missed by many.
SERVICES: began at 1100 hrs, at the Westwood Cemetery, off of SR 36, 1.4mi west of Mooney Rd, Westwood, CA 96137. We formed a flag line to render honors to the family and friends as they arrive for the Interment service. Upon completion of the funeral service, we falled out, mission complete.
