Final Mission Report - Memorial/Interment WWII US Navy Veteran, Virginia Routnier

The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of fallen WWII US Navy Veteran, Virginia Routnier, to stand and honor during her Memorial and Interment services in Lake Almanor, CA.. The Mission involved a flag line at the Lady of Snow Catholic Church in Lake Almanor, CA. for family and friends to pass through during the Memorial Service. Upon completion of the Memorial Service, the Patriot Guard Riders again formed a flag line for family and friends to pass through during the Interment Service and final Military Honors at the Chester District Cemetery, Chester CA. On a beautiful, winter day, 12 PGR members showed to present Honors for this true American Hero, where the PGR stood Honor Line at WWII US Navy Veteran, Virginia Routnierís final resting.

In addition to our Patriot Guard Riders we had a great representation of many groups on this Mission. They include:

U. S. Navy Honor Guard - NAS Fallon, NV
American Legion
Veterans of Foreign Wars

Lastly, but not the least, I am thankful to WWII US Navy Veteran, Virginia Routnier, an American Hero, and her family. Your watch has been stood, your duty to protect this nation is complete, and youíve earned the right to be called a true American Hero. Your service and sacrifice will not be forgotten.

Rest in Peace, your Mission is complete.
