Fallen US Marine Corp / US Air Force Veteran Michael Thomas Jordan, Beckworth, CA

The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited to participate in a memorial ride and interment service flag line for fallen US Marine Corps / US Air Force retired veteran Michael Thomas Jordan, sixty-two years, Reno, NV.

Veteran Jordan honorably served in the USMC from 1971-1975 and the USAF from 1976 to 1992 specializing in sheet metal fabrication.

Our Northern Nevada Patriot Guard conducted a successful mission, splitting into two groups to converge at Whispering Pines Cemetery, Beckworth Calif. to honor Michael Thomas Jordan a his gravesite service.

One group of seven motors and three cages left Reno and proceeded to Hallelujah Junction where they were joined by our NorCal P.G.R. Brothers from the Susanville area, then proceeded on to Beckworth to provide the Flag line for the arrival of our second group who had joined a very large procession of motors and cages caring family and friends that had gathered at Border Town NV. Mr. Jordon a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast was carried to Beckworth by his son on his fathers motorcycle. Michael Jordan served our country for twenty one years, four U.S.M.C and seventeen U.S.A.F

Our Flag line at the cemetery consisted of twenty three members, military honors provided by a local V.F.W. Post.

As a life long motorcycle enthusiast, Mr. Jordan's daughter and son share many memories of rides on their dad's bike; honoring Dad and those memories, they want to take him on his last ride to his final resting spot in the Whispering Pines Cemetery, Beckwourth, CA (twenty miles west of Hallelujah Junction on CA 70).

Mr. Jordon's son will ride his motorcycle, carrying his dad's cremated remains, accompanied by family, friends and PGR in autos and on motorcycles.

This was a combined Mission for Reno and Susanville area. Reno PGR will be taking the lead on this Mission. Susanville PGR met at Hallelujah Junction at approx 1115hrs to ride in with the Reno PGR to the Interment site at Beckworth, CA

Rest in peace Michael Thomas Jordan. We are grateful for your service. You mission on this earth is complete.
