MULTIPLE PGR AWARDS:

February 19, 2016 - Patriot Guard Riders and Shasta Veteran Escort
Redding California

At a gathering of approximately 400 patriotic Veterans supporters on February 19, 2016 at the Win River Casino in Redding, CA the Patriot Guard Riders and the Shasta Veterans' Escort were awarded the "Veterans' Advocate of the Year Group Award 2015" by the Shasta County Veterans Affiliated Council.

Also, the California Legislature presented the Patriot Guard Riders and the Shasta Veterans Escort with the "Veterans' Advocate of the Year Group Award" from Assemblyman 1st District Brian Dahle.

The California Senate presented a "Certificate of Recognition, Veterans' Group Advocate of the Year" from Senator Ted Gains, First District to the Patriot Guard Riders and the Shasta Veterans Escort.

Also awarded to the Patriot Guard Riders and Shasta Veterans' Escort was the Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition "The Group Award" by Congressman Doug LaMalfa.

Twenty PGR/SVE members were present to accept the awards.

We are proud and grateful for ALL the members of Shasta Veteran Escort and the Northern California Patriot Guard Riders for their selfless dedication and personal sacrifices in honoring our departed veterans, their departed spouses and their families in providing escorts and standing in honor of the services of our brothers and sisters in arms.

It is heartwarming to receive such recognition from a community so involved in veterans support!
