US Navy - WWII Veteran - Robert T. Levada - Susanville, CA

The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of fallen US Navy, WWII Veteran, Robert T. Levada, to stand and honor during his Memorial Service at the Diamond Crest Cemetary, Susanville, CA. US Navy, WWII Veteran, Robert Levada served his country proudly in the US Navy as a Fire Fighter from June 7, 1942 to December 22, 1945.

Robert was born in Concord, CA on June 14, 1924 and died on December 1, 2014 in Susanville, CA. Robert began his teaching career at Lassen High School in 1951 where he taught English Class for 33 years before eventually working at and retiring from Sierra Army Depot. Robert Levada loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman. Because of his love of life, his sense of humor and his love for his family, he will be missed by many.

Military Honors and Memorial Services began at approximately 11:00 am, at the Diamond Crest Cemetary, Susanville, CA 96130.

On a cloudy (almost raining:) cool Fall day, 9 PGR Members came to pay Honor and Respect for US Navy WWII Veteran Robert Levada. I wish to thank those that came from Susanville, Westwood, Alturas Modoc County PGR and Silver Springs, NV PGR. Also the VSO from Susanville, VFW and American Legion.

Rest in Peace Robert... Your Mission is complete!
