US Army WWII Veteran - Tech 5 Albert J Beterbide - Susanville, CA

The Patriot Guard Riders having been invited by the family of fallen US Army WWII Veteran - Tech 5 Albert J Beterbide, to stand and honor during his Interment Service at the Diamond Crest Cemetery, Susanville, CA. 96130. Tech 5 Albert J Beterbide served his country proudly from 24 Mar 1941 to 22 Sept 1945.

Tech 5 Albert J Beterbide served during WWII with the 194th Glider Infantry as an Airborne Infantryman and served in both the European Theater of War in East Africa and Central Europe then when after the Armistice in Europe, Tech 5 Albert J Beterbide unit was sent to the Pacific Theater of War in Papua and New Guinea.

Tech 5 Albert J Beterbide was awarded the following decorations : European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal - Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal - Good Conduct Medal.

Tech 5 Albert J Beterbide was a lifelong resident of Susanville and upon his Honorable discharge from the US Army, Tech 5 Albert J Beterbide returned home. Because of his love of life, his sense of humor and his love for his family, he will be missed by many.

began at approximately 1000hrs, at the Diamond Crest Cemetery, off of Law Drive and Diamond Crest Road, Susanville, CA
